Guardian Angels

What are they?

Guardian Angels are assigned to us and stay with us throughout our lives, they have never lived as humans and regardless of your belief system most people have two guardians to look after them. You may sense them as an inner voice prompting you to take a certain path or you may feel the need to make decisions, these angels gently push you in the right direction. They are there for your guidance they wait for us to ask for help.

When you experience an angelic being you should feel comfortable and not afraid, sometimes a floral or perfume smell will enter the room, the temperature may change or you may feel something touch you, these are positive experiences and we should not be afraid of these beings.

Some of our great ideas have been given to us by these angelic beings and you should feel empowered and positive from such an encounter.

Many people see signs from angels, a white feather or robin is a classic example, other have more personal signs like rainbows or butterflies etc.

Humans have free will and angels cannot interfere with that side of human nature although if it is not your time to die they can intervene to prevent this without our permission.

Asking for help is simple, just ask out loud or you may prefer to light a candle and do something that focuses you mind that is fine but generally asking will get the help you require.

Archangels oversee the guardian angels, each one has its own particular element and assignment

ArchAngel Michael
Michael is probably the most well known Archangel of all the others. He is said to be God's champion and is usually pictured with an unsheathed sword.
He is connected to Aries, Leo and Sagittarius

Archangel Uriel
The name Uriel has four meanings, "Fire of God, Flame of God, Light of God, or Sun of God."Some accounts say that Uriel is the head of the third order(or company)of Angels. Others identify Uriel as one of the seven Archangels before the Throne.
He is connected to Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.

Archangel Raphael
This Archangels name means "God has overcome." He is said to be the Angel that supervises healing He is connected to Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Archangel Gabriel
The Archangel Gabriel comes from the Hebrew meaning"Man of God."Gabriel and Michael are the Archangels that figure most prominently in the Bible He is connected to Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

Spring Spring Spring!
Ostara....Spring Equinox, March 20th 23rd Ostara is a celebration of new life, fertility and longer daylight hours. Equinox Means "Equal Night"

This equinox is also known as Ostara or Eostre - and is celebrated as a festival of new growth, renewal, a re-balancing of energies and the return of longer days.

It is also known as the day of equilibrium. Now is a good time to consider the balance of our lives - work, play and relationships.

The egg symbolized Eostre's wholeness and fertility - the female hormone oestrogen is named after her - and is offered at this equinox as a symbol of fertility and new life. The golden yolk represents the Sun God, its white shell is seen as the White Goddess.

Decorated eggs, egg rolling and egg hunts originate from pagan fertility rites dedicated to Eostre - symbolising fertility and re-birth, eggs are offered to the earth to ensure a fecund future harvest. Nature is 'hatching out' with new life.

Easter has deep roots in the mythic past. Long before it was imported into the Christian tradition, the Spring festival honored the goddess Eostre or Eastre.

I have written an Easter spell for those that want to call upon New Starts and positive energy back into their lives, it was written with the energy of Spring and will help focus the mind and bring about positive changes.


A magical dance with stone and flowers,
Brings forth the rain in little showers, And children dancing just for fun, will bring about the shining sun.
Magical dances, twirls and twists
will bring about the Autumn mists
And when all around has ceased to grow
Winter brings us ice and snow.
Let your heart rejoice and sing
As New beginnings start with SPRING!
