You comforted me when i was down, and snuggled me in bed, You rested comfortably when i was sad no words were even said.
You bounced around and chewed your toys and buried the occasional bone, But you were always with me wherever we did roam.
You are always in my thoughts and forever in my heart, But I knew one day my friend that we would have to part, I miss our walks and playful time but know you're always there Please wait for me until its time when again you will be in my care.
And then we will walk again as we have always done, In fields of flowers, sunny days having lots of fun.
So just for now i will say goodbye and hope my heart will mend Until we meet again my special four legged friend.
