Do ghosts really exists, well yes they do and science is beginning to realize that these energies do exists in different realms or frequencies, first it is better to explain the difference between spirits, ghosts and imprints Ghosts are people that have died and for some reason they have not crossed over they stay earthbound ad become stuck, sometimes when they need help they begin to cause disturbances and this is when haunting's begin in houses.
Spirits are not earthbound they are our guides or deceased loved ones that have crossed over and come back to give us messages or to help us in times of need.
Imprints are like videos they normally occur when something traumatic has happened on the earth plane it leaves such an impression that it creates an image that is played over and over again, This cannot be moved on but will erase in time. One such site is edge hill in Banbury the grounds of the civil war, many people have reported seeing a battle taking place and hearing horses charging, many of these scenes are just imprints in time and not ghosts.
If a place is the scene of imprint then a medium cannot communicate with the people within it as they may have crossed over long ago, its just like a negative from a photo.When there is a haunting a medium can talk to the person and try and explain and understand why they remains where they are.
This next story happened to my mother when she first met my father back in 1960, as a young couple my parents wanted to live together and set out to find a small flat in Battersea, having little money at the time they found a one bedroom flat within an old building containing six apartments on two levels, they rented one on the top floor and being an old building the staircase was dark and small to climb. When they first viewed the place it struck my mother a little odd that everything had been left by the previous tenant including personal items like the pink slippers that were placed carefully by the bed, when they moved in nothing had been moved and they set about cleaning and throwing things out. It took nearly a week to sort but finally they settled in and went about their life.
Within a month of living there strange events started to happen, mum would hear crying and footsteps that seem to stop at the front door.
One eventful night my father woke at 2 am he looked at my mum, she was talking in a voice he had never heard before, it was a woman's voice asking for her husband calling him by name begging him to come back, dad was so frightened that he shook my mum until she was fully conscious, my mother told dad that she had been paralyzed unable to call for help but had such an overwhelming sense of grief. The events of that night and the footsteps at the door led my father to investigate what was going on, he asked one of the neighbours the next day, it transpired that the flat had been occupied by a young couple but the wife had died of cancer within a year of them living there, the man had moved out because he was so distraught at loosing her but shortly after he had left the other tenants had heard footsteps and crying in the building. He had left the flat just as she had left it when she died, unable to throw away anything of hers.
A Candle, and bible were put in the hallway and mum asked her to leave, this must have worked because there was no further disturbances, but my parents moved out a few months later I think the experience shocked my mum as she talked about this for years to come.
